Terms & Conditions

At SDTC we only use science-based, humane + positive training methods and as a result, we don’t allow the use of harsh methods or aversive techniques. The use of choke chains/check chains, half-check chains, electric collars or any other fear, pain or avoidance-based training products or techniques will not be permitted.

  • Payment is required in full prior to our first training session. While a bank transfer is preferable, we can also accept cash on the day.

  • We understand that cancellations may sometimes be necessary, however, please be aware that cancellations made within 48 hours of our session will be charged at 50% of the fee.  Cancellations made within 24 hours of our session will be charged at the full fee.

  • We are unable to provide refunds after training has begun. This is applicable for all bookings and packages alike.

  • It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure we are provided with accurate information about any medical or health conditions or injuries your dog may have prior to beginning training.

  • Surrey Dog Training Company (SDTC) cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage to person or property.

  • Training sessions and packages will expire 6 months after the date of the first session and it remains the responsibility of the owner to book sessions with us prior to the expiration date.

  • While we actively encourage children to partake in training sessions, for safety and full understanding of the training session, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • If illness/unforeseen circumstances arise that result in us needing to cancel, we will rearrange a booking with you at the earliest possible availability and give you as much notice as we can.

  • By booking either a single session or a package of sessions or group classes with us you are agreeing to all the above terms and conditions.
